Lights, Camera, Action! Video in the Classroom aims to familiarise you with various video making techniques and related teaching ideas which they can then use with your students to enhance learning. As more and more of our students have video-enabled mobile devices, it makes sense to utilise this valuable resource to motivate and inspire learners as well as to support and develop their learning. This course explores how to integrate ready-made video materials into your classroom teaching, and also how to create and edit videos using a range of free online tools. The emphasis is not just on the technical skills needed to create and edit video, but also on how to integrate the use of video into your classroom in a principled and pedagogically sound manner.
